The Dali Oberon 7 C floor-standing loudspeaker is intended for homes or spaces that are more expansive and allow music to breathe and be played at a higher level. The Oberon 7 C loudspeakers suit the more ambitious listener seeking a grander statement with their audio system.
The Oberon 7 C speakers hold two 7 inch wood fibre cones which feature Dali's patented SMC technology and the same ultra-lightweight 29mm soft dome tweeter as the Oberon 1 C speakers.
Whilst the Dali Ober 7 C speakers are a subtle performer, they impress with their ability to render any style of music naturally - even at low volume levels.
Features of the Dali Oberon 7 C include:
Easy to Position - The driver materials, crossover design and geometry applied in the Oberon C series were selected by Dali to achieve a wide dispersion pattern. This ensures a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significantly off-axis angle. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion.
Low Latency - The Sound Hub Compact transmits to the Oberon C speakers utilising a proprietary 30-bit wireless protocol derived from the acclaimed Dali Sound Hub. Typically, the audio transmission latency from input to speaker is less than 15 mS with inter-speaker timing accurate to the single sample period of the broadcast audio data.
Patented SMC - The Oberon C woofer magnet is crowned by the Dali patented SMC disk which minimises the negative effects of the iron from the iron pole piece. The use of the SMC disk greatly reduces the mechanical distortion which lowers third-order distortion.
Active Speaker - The Dali Oberon C power amplification comprises two 50 watt peak, closed-loop Class-D power amplifiers chosen specifically for their sound quality and dynamic ability. One amplifier powers the high-frequency driver whilst the other powers the twin drivers.
