Fresh Faces, Familiar Sound: Arcam Launches the A5+, A15+ And A25+

Meet the New Arcam Radia “Plus” Amplifiers – A5+, A15+ and A25+

If you’re familiar with Arcam’s Radia range, you’ll know that their A5, A15 and A25 amplifiers have been firm favourites with music lovers looking for a balance of performance, design and value. Well, Arcam have just announced the next chapter: the new A5+, A15+ and A25+, which replace the outgoing models.

So why the change? Arcam’s answer is simple: because they can. The Radia range has been a success, but the team saw an opportunity to push things even further — adding features, refining performance and ensuring the amps remain future-ready for the way people listen to music today.

What’s new in the “Plus” models?
Here’s a quick overview of what’s been added across the range:

  • Snapdragon Sound with aptX Lossless – higher-quality wireless streaming than ever before.
  • Auracast Bluetooth transmitting – not just receiving Bluetooth, but sharing it out to other compatible devices.
  • New front panel design – clearer displays and a cleaner look.
  • Upgraded DAC op amps – improved digital audio conversion for more refined sound.

From there, each model steps things up in its own way:

  • A5+ – The entry point, now with the features above, at £749 RRP.
  • A15+ – Adds HDMI eARC/ARC input (with power-off passthrough) — ideal for integrating with TVs and home cinema setups. £1,199 RRP.
  • A25+ – Goes all-out with a glass-fronted OLED display and an additional ESS9018 DAC for class-leading digital audio performance. £1,699 RRP.

Why it matters
For those who loved the previous Radia amps, the “Plus” versions are a natural evolution — not a reinvention. Arcam have kept the musicality, simplicity and understated design people expect, while making sure these amps meet the needs of modern listeners: better wireless streaming, easier integration with TVs, and improved clarity from digital sources.
In short, these aren’t just replacements — they’re refinements designed to make the Radia range even more appealing, whether you’re new to hi-fi or already deep into the hobby.
