The Sony BRAVIA Projector 8 VPL-XW6100ES is a premium native 4K laser home cinema projector designed to bring a true big-screen experience into dedicated cinema rooms and high-end media spaces. Combining Sony’s SXRD projection technology with the XR Processor for projector, it delivers sharp, cinematic images with deep contrast, natural colour and impressive brightness.

Its Z-Phosphor laser light source produces up to 2,700 ISO lumens, giving the projector the brightness needed for large-screen HDR viewing. Sony’s XR Dynamic Tone Mapping analyses peak brightness frame by frame, helping bright highlights look more convincing while preserving detail in darker areas of the picture.

Colour is handled by XR Triluminos Pro, which helps reproduce over a billion colours with smooth gradation and natural shading. XR Clear Image also helps upscale lower-resolution content towards 4K while reducing picture noise, so films, TV and streamed content can look cleaner and more detailed on a large screen.

The BRAVIA Projector 8 is also well suited to modern gaming and custom installations. HDMI 2.1 support allows 4K/120fps playback with Auto Low Latency Mode, while powered zoom, powered focus, generous lens shift and home automation compatibility make it easier to integrate into a serious home cinema system.
