Product Summary & Benefits Tech Specs & Connectivity

Product Summary

The Pro-Ject E1.2 Phono is a plug-and-play belt-drive turntable with a built-in switchable moving magnet phono stage, allowing it to connect directly to amplifiers, powered speakers and other audio systems with a standard line-level input.

Built around the E1.2 platform, it features a substantial 730g die-cast aluminium platter, glass-fibre reinforced sub-platter and precision main bearing for stable, low-resonance playback. The 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm is fitted with a carbon-reinforced headshell and a factory-aligned Pro-Ject Pick it MM E cartridge.

Tracking force and anti-skating are pre-adjusted at the factory, making setup straightforward, while electronic speed selection provides easy switching between 33⅓ and 45 RPM. The switchable phono output also means the E1.2 Phono can still be used with an external phono stage or an amplifier's dedicated phono input.

★★★★★
I bought a full system from the Aberdeen shop. Christian was very attentive throughout the whole process. I found that all the staff in the shop were both knowledgeable and helpful. I would strongly recommend Holburn Hi-Fi to anyone thinking about buying a full or part Hi-Fi system.

★★★★★
The guys at Holburn Hifi were fantastic from start to finish. Explained everything clearly and in simple terms which I really appreciated as I was lost amongst all the info I had seen online. There was no hard sell and certainly an understanding of my budget. I can’t recommend Holburn Hi Fi highly enough. Thanks to Ian, Sam and Christian.

★★★★★
Dropped in not really knowing what I wanted. Sam was most helpful, steering me towards a solution, and avoiding going over the top. From that we moved on to updating our wifi coverage towards a network. Here, Alain was equally helpful.
