Digital

The MA9500 arrives equipped with the revolutionary DA2 Digital Audio Module as standard. This module features a Quad Balanced, 8-channel, 32-bit Digital-to-Analogue Converter. Crucially, the DA2 provides superior dynamic range and lower total harmonic distortion compared to its predecessor. For connectivity, the DA2 offers seven digital inputs, including dual Coaxial, dual Optical, USB, and the exclusive MCT input for a secure DSD connection to McIntosh SACD transports. Moreover, the inclusion of an audio-only HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) means you can elevate your TV sound like never before through your main music system. The USB input also supports increased DSD playback up to DSD512.

Analogue

The analogue connectivity offered is equally comprehensive, providing a stunning 10 inputs in total. Specifically, you receive two balanced and six unbalanced high-level inputs. Vinyl enthusiasts will be delighted by the dedicated Moving Coil and Moving Magnet phono inputs, both featuring adjustable loading.
