Product Summary
The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono is a premium plug-and-play belt-drive turntable designed for customers who want a more ambitious vinyl source with a genuinely high-quality built-in phono stage. It takes the strong fundamentals of the T2 platform and adds Pro-Ject’s best integrated MM phono design in the range, making it an especially attractive option for customers who want excellent out-of-the-box performance without immediately needing extra boxes.
A big part of the appeal is the way it combines convenience with serious hi-fi engineering. The T2 Super Phono uses a substantial CNC-machined plinth, a precision glass platter and a 9 inch one-piece aluminium tonearm, helping it feel far more substantial than many lifestyle turntables at similar money. Pro-Ject also fits the deck with a Sumiko Rainier moving magnet cartridge, giving customers a more refined and capable starting point for long-term vinyl listening.
It is also a strong choice for customers who want a turntable that stays satisfying as the rest of the system improves. The built-in dual-stage split-passive MM phono stage is designed to offer better longevity and stronger audio performance than basic integrated phono sections, while the adjustable spring-based anti-skating and solid core construction help support confident tracking and cleaner playback. For customers wanting an elegant, more serious step up from entry-level turntables, the T2 Super Phono is an excellent option.
