The Pro-Ject Flatten it is a remarkable gadget that uses temperature controlled hot plates to flatten warped records. Using a safe and gentle process, the Flatten it heats and presses records back to shape.

Pitch instability and harmonic distortion are reduced, giving you a much more stable and ‘solid’ sound. In extreme cases, severely warped records can cause the stylus to skate, especially when using cartridges with a light tracking force. With even stylus pressure across the entire record, uneven record wear is also reduced.

Compatible with all records
Pro-Ject’s Flatten it is compatible with all types and thicknesses of records. You can use it with 78s, 45s and 33s of any thickness. Blanking plates ensure that record labels aren’t damaged in the heating process.
