The cost of return is your responsibility and we strongly recommend insuring the goods, as refunds cannot be issued for damaged or incomplete returns. If items show excessive handling, are missing components, or cannot be resold as new, a reasonable deduction may be made.

Product Summary
The Audio-Technica AT-VM745xML is a premium dual moving magnet phono cartridge from the latest AT-VMx Series, combining a nude Microlinear stylus with a solid boron cantilever for highly accurate and detailed vinyl playback.
Its Microlinear stylus has a very small 2.2 x 0.12 mil curvature radius, allowing it to follow the intricate modulations of the record groove with exceptional precision. Compared with conventional elliptical or conical profiles, the Microlinear design is able to retrieve fine high-frequency information while maintaining accurate tracking across the record, including demanding inner grooves.
The AT-VM745xML distinguishes itself with a 0.28mm solid boron cantilever. Boron combines extremely low mass with excellent rigidity, allowing stylus movement to be transmitted rapidly and accurately to the cartridge generator. This contributes to improved transient response, fine detail retrieval and a clean, responsive presentation.
Audio-Technica’s dual moving magnet VM design mirrors the arrangement of the cutter head used to create a stereo record. Two magnets are positioned to correspond with the left and right groove walls, helping provide excellent channel separation and a stable, precisely defined stereo image.
The updated VMx generator employs paratoroidal coils, with two coils used for each channel to improve generating efficiency. A central shielding plate separates the left and right channels to reduce electrical crosstalk, while PCUHD® (Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability) wire is used for the coils to support highly responsive and nuanced signal transmission.
A rigid die-cast aluminium cartridge body helps suppress unwanted vibration and resonance. Threaded mounting holes are integrated into the body, allowing installation with two screws without the need to hold separate nuts underneath the headshell, making cartridge fitting and alignment considerably easier.
The redesigned flip-up stylus protector incorporates a V-shaped cut-out, providing a clearer view of the stylus position when lowering the cartridge onto a record.
With a 3.7mV output and standard 47kΩ recommended load impedance, the AT-VM745xML is designed for use with conventional moving-magnet phono stages. Its combination of advanced groove tracing, a boron cantilever and Audio-Technica’s refined VMx generator makes it an excellent choice for listeners seeking a significant upgrade in resolution, stereo imaging and musical detail.
