Ruark has designed and engineered its products in-house since 1985, maintaining a focus on audio excellence and design craftsmanship. The MR1 Mk3 reflects this heritage, combining over four decades of acoustic expertise into a beautifully crafted speaker system.

With ideal acoustic properties, the handcrafted wood cabinets now look even more sophisticated with their finely detailed bevelled front edges and new Slate Grey fabric grilles. Size wise the enclosure have been subtly expanded to allow optimum volume for Ruark’s new NS+ Bass/Mid units and for the amplifier Ruark have adapted the Class D technology used in their R410, for a substantial increase in power output and control.

Extensive crossover optimisation and precision tuning of the bass reflex system have resulted in a significant leap in acoustic performance. The MR1 Mk3 delivers deeper, more controlled bass, a lucid midrange, and exceptional detail from Ruark’s custom 20mm silk dome tweeters.

Your sound, your way
No matter how you listen, the MR1 adapts to you. Equipped with AptX HD Bluetooth technology, the MR1 Mk3 supports pristine wireless streaming and low-latency audio - making it an ideal companion for TVs and streaming devices. Users can now adjust volume directly from the connected device, enabling full control via a television remote when used in this setup.

For wired applications, the MR1 Mk3 introduces a USB Audio input - ideal for direct connection to computers or audio equipment with USB output, making MR1 Mk3 perfect for music fans or serious audiophiles where the best resolution playback is required.

Additional line-in and optical inputs also provide flexibility for connecting third-party devices such as a Wi-Fi music streamer. A dedicated turntable input is also included, featuring a high-quality moving magnet phono stage with variable gain, making it a simple and effective option for vinyl playback.

Despite their compact form, the MR1 Mk3 speakers deliver room-filling sound. For users looking to enhance bass response even further - particularly for film or gaming use - a subwoofer output is provided. Ruark’s own RS1 Subwoofer is an ideal match for this purpose.
