We aim to dispatch in-stock items as soon as possible provided that we physically have the stock - but please note that sometimes we have to order from our supplier for certain products, in which case delivery should take place within 1-5 working days of the order being placed.

You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in line with UK distance selling regulations. Once you’ve notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item. Please contact us by email, phone or in writing before sending anything back.
Items must be returned in original condition and packaging, including all accessories, manuals and any promotional items. The cost of return is your responsibility and we strongly recommend insuring the goods, as refunds cannot be issued for damaged or incomplete returns. If items show excessive handling, are missing components, or cannot be resold as new, a reasonable deduction may be made.

Product Summary
The Ultrafide U4PRE is a pure analogue pre-amplifier designed to act as the control centre of a serious hi-fi system. Part of Ultrafide’s Ultra Sigma series, it brings together flexible source management, a high-quality configurable phono stage, quad outputs and precision analogue volume control in a compact, beautifully engineered chassis.
With five stereo inputs and four stereo outputs, the U4PRE is ideal for systems that need more than a simple source selector. RCA and balanced XLR inputs allow it to work with a wide range of source components, while its parallel quad outputs give extra flexibility for bi-amping, multi-amplifier systems or more complex setups.
The built-in phono stage is highly configurable for both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, with adjustable capacitance, resistance and gain. This makes the U4PRE especially useful for vinyl listeners who want a clean, low-noise analogue signal path without adding a separate phono stage.
A discrete Class A/B headphone amplifier is also built in, giving private listening the same level of attention as the main system outputs. With an OLED display, aluminium remote control and digital control over volume, balance, source naming and gain offset, the U4PRE combines analogue purity with everyday usability.
This is an ex-demo model that has been very well cared for. It comes supplied with original boxing and accessories.
